Workshop & Event Booking Terms
Workshop & Event Booking Terms
These terms apply to workshops, classes and ticketed events operated by Sparrow & Jack unless different conditions are stated on the individual event listing.
Bookings
Places are confirmed once payment has been successfully completed.
Please check the date, time, location, age requirements and other information provided on the workshop or event page before booking.
Cancellations by Participants
Workshop and event places are limited and your booking reserves a place specifically for you.
Unless otherwise stated on the event listing, cancellations made at least 7 days before the scheduled event may be transferred to another person or, where possible, transferred to another suitable session.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the event and failure to attend are generally non-refundable for change-of-mind.
If you cannot attend, please contact us as early as possible. We will do our best to help where circumstances allow.
These conditions do not limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Cancellation or Rescheduling by Sparrow & Jack
Occasionally we may need to cancel, postpone or reschedule a workshop or event because of circumstances such as facilitator illness, insufficient bookings or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If Sparrow & Jack cancels an event and an appropriate alternative cannot be arranged, customers will be offered a refund of the affected booking.
Late Arrival
Please arrive at the time stated on your booking.
Late arrival may reduce the amount of workshop time available and, in some circumstances, it may not be possible to join a session after it has commenced.
Materials
The individual workshop listing will state what materials are included and whether participants need to bring anything with them.
Children and Young People
Age requirements will be stated on individual workshop and event listings.
Where a workshop requires a parent, guardian or responsible adult to remain with a child, this will be stated when booking.
Bookings for children must be made by a parent, guardian or responsible adult.
Photography
Photography or video may occasionally be taken during Sparrow & Jack workshops and events.
Where identifiable participants are intended to feature in promotional photography, appropriate notice or consent will be sought. Additional consent procedures may apply when photographing children.
If you have concerns about photography at an event, please speak with a member of the Sparrow & Jack team.
Accessibility
We want our workshops and events to be as welcoming and accessible as reasonably possible. Please contact us before booking or attending if you have accessibility requirements or would like information about the venue.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
